What you will learn
Andres's specialties are portraits and peopled landscapes. He will teach you how to look for light, and how to use light and composition, and become part of the choreography around you to catch moments and make striking photographs. He will also share with you his techniques on approaching strangers, building trust on the fly, and understanding the subtle moments shared between subject and photographer that lead to great portraits.
Your Photographer
Andres Gonzalez is an award winning photographer who has been freelancing from Istanbul for the last two years. His documentary work has been exhibited internationally, and has won awards from Photo District News Magazine, the Alexia Foundation for World Peace, and the Magenta Foundation for the Arts, and most recently was awarded the prestigious Canon Italia Young Photographer's Prize. He is a regular contributor to Monocle Magazine, Wallpaper*, and the fashion magazine W.
Adventures thru the Lens - Istanbul Photo Tours

You will visit Beyazid Square, the Covered Bazaar, Sultanahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque), Higha Sophia, Eminonu, Galata Bridge on Golden Horn, Old (built in 1874), Funicular System "Tunel", and ending with a 360 degree city view on top of Galata Tower.
