Rooms

Hanging on the walls of the rooms there are none of the usual reproductions of period prints typical of grand hotels (in Rome as elsewhere), but only 'genuine', signed photography (in itself a genre made to be reproduced...), with large colour photographs of flowers by the great photographer Robert Mapplethorpe. The walls, which are deliberately just painted, are all in very delicate and restful pastel hues, as is the upholstery. There are various types of bathroom, but they are all in marble or marble mosaic. The bathroom designs range from the classical to the contemporary, but in all cases the most classical materials are used. Easy Connect broadband service to the internet is offered from every guest room.

• It is in a very good location and we were treated very well by all the staff (and were upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely with a great view of the courtyard).The bar here is excellent and having a drink in the courtyard on a warm Rome summer evening is lovely. We will most definitely stay here again when we are next in Rome.

• This hotel could not have been more amazing. The food was incredible and the
placing of the hotel could not have been better. The rooms were beautiful and overlooking roof tops and looking down cool alleyways. The front desk was extremely helpful from awesome places to elegant restaurants. The hotel was also clean and the service was great.

Studio Room (17)
These rooms can be twin or king bed. All Studio rooms offer a city view and some have a Piazza del Popolo view. They are composed of a bedroom with a sitting area. All Studio rooms have air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The size is approximately 45 square metres (484.39 square feet).

Deluxe Double / Twin Rooms (25)
These rooms can be twin or king bed. Most of the Deluxe Double / Twin rooms offer a garden view. They feature air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The size is approximately 40 square metres (430.57 square feet).

Executive Double / Twin Room (9)
These rooms can be twin or queen bed. All Executive Double / Twin rooms have air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The size is approximately 35 square metres (376.75 square feet).

Classic Double / Twin Room (38)
These rooms can be twin or queen bed. All Classic Double / Twin rooms have air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The size is approximately 30 square metres (322.93 square feet).

Classic Single Room (5)
These rooms have a French bed (single bed) of which a couple are four-poster beds. All Classic Single rooms have air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The size is approximately 23 square metres (247.58 square feet).

Hotel de Russie boasts six luxurious suite types, all of which are extremely spacious and offer stunning views of the city and the gardens at the hotel.

The Three Top Suites:

The Picasso Suite
Situated on the highest floor (sixth) of the hotel, the Picasso Suite can be twin or king bed. It overlooks our 'Secret Garden' and the Pincio. The Picasso Suite is composed of a bedroom, a living room and an office and includes a huge 25-square-metre terrace, air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, fax machine (on request), B&O television, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The Picasso Suite is 80 square metres (861.14 square feet); the terrace is 25 square metres (269.11 square feet).

The Popolo Suite
Situated on the highest floor (sixth) of the hotel, the Popolo Suite has a king bed. It overlooks the Piazza del Popolo and the rooftops of the city. The Popolo Suite is composed of a bedroom and a living room and includes a huge 35-square-metre terrace, air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, fax machine (on request), B&O television, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The Popolo Suite is 55 square metres (592 square feet); the terrace is 35 square metres (376.75 square feet).

The Vaselli Suite
Situated on the fifth floor of the hotel, the Vaselli Suite can be twin or king bed. It overlooks our 'Secret Garden' and the Pincio. The Vaselli Suite is composed of a bedroom and a living room and includes a marvellous 18-square-metre terrace, air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, fax machine (on request), B&O television, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The Vaselli Suite is 53 square metres (570.5 square feet); the terrace is 18 square metres (193.75 square feet).

The Other Suites:
Executive Suites (14)
These suites can be twin or king bed. All Executive Suites overlook our 'Secret Garden' and the Pincio. They are composed of a bedroom, a living room and some offer an office or an extra guest toilet. All Executive Suites have air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, fax machine (on request), B&O television, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The size is approximately 65 to 70 square metres (699.68 to 753.5 square feet).

Classic Suites (6)
These suites have a king bed. All Classic Suites offer a city view. They are composed of a bedroom and a living room. All Classic Suites have air conditioning, computer outlets, voicemail, two telephone lines, fax machine (on request), B&O television, minibar, safety-deposit box, satellite television, hairdryer and writing desk. The size is approximately 60 to 65 square metres (645.85 to 699.68 square feet).

Junior Suites (8)
These suites can be twin or king bed. Some Junior Suites offer a garden view. They are composed of a bedroom with a huge sitting area.
