• - Stayed at the Diplomatic for three nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. As I'm American, they automatically placed me in a non-smoking room and even though the porter had already brought me upstairs, they had no problem changing me to a smoking room. The room itself, a double, was large and clean with a small balcony. Breakfast was ok, standard meat/cheese/yoghurt/cereal, the cappuccino was good. There is a small lounge/bar on the first floor by the breakfast room. Hotel is also very close to all the major sights. There is a bus stand across the street for those who don't like to walk and the 110 tourist bus stops literally in front of the hotel. There is a shop across the street that sells bus tickets.
